Hi Pat L. Thanks for visiting my blog. Yes, we seem to have a lot in common, perhaps more than you could know. I enjoy taking photographs of vistas like this one, too. This is a beautiful photo. Do you have e-mail? Easier to communicate that way sometimes. I sometimes grow basil, but don't seem to have much luck with it. I do great with thyme, sage, rosemary, parsley. Never tried asparagus but I know that once they are established, as long as no one disturbs the bed, they will come back year after year. My boyfriend in college's dad grew them. The first tiny ones in the spring were divine. More later. Great blog you have.
