It was a gorgeous day today with the snow. I went to the 'hill' (office of the Fold) and ran into Dennis who was shoveling as it was snowing, so we stood out in it and chatted...lovely. Then Cat and I drove to Littleton, and the scenery was so, so nice. It is a dream to have a back porch that is enclosed with glass, a heated floor, a hot tub in the corner, a deck overhead for my bedroom up there---because I am so, so helped and soothed and nurished by seeing the out of doors. (I guess i wouldn't need the hot tub or the deck, but while you are putting on a roof, why not make it a deck?!!) anyway, I always felt very much at home at your home because it looks alot like the farm home I left--the long windows and spaciousness, the white walls..... great pictures, by the way.
"helped and soothed and nourished" ... that's what I was trying to say! We should co-write my blog, MLL! But I guess we already are, with the wonderful comments you leave. Thanks!
I love this picture, with the trees and the thermometer. Can I steal it? (haha) I'm pointing my inlaws to these snow entries. they're in Delaware and never get to see snow stay on the trees like this. It quickly goes away, either by turning to slush or blowing from one side of the incredibly flat state to the other.
Eva, thanks for asking. If you use it anywhere public, please give credit! And thanks for sending your in-laws to look! I'm going to keep adding more photos, one at a time. Just took some today with the sun on the snow. It's nice to know you like my pics! :o)
